Corroseal is a water based rust converter combined with an unpigmented high quality latex paint primer. The converting agent turns rust into a barrier layer of black, non rusting magnetite, plus other inert substances. The primer acts as a bonding agent for epoxy, enamel, acrylic, urethane or oil-based paint. Corroseal bonds exceptionally well with moisture cured urethane (1,000 psi +). Contains no chemical listed in EPA 40 CFR Cp1, Part 433. Non flammable, non corrosive. VOC compliant at 60 grams/liter. Not restricted by Federal DOT shipping regulations. Corroseal is recommended for use on all steel surfaces as a rust converter primer.
